Welcome to ASA.  The  Church of the Ascension and Saint Agnes is an Anglo-Catholic parish in union with the Washington diocese of the Episcopal Church, which is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion.

Our diverse, urban congregation comprises families and individuals—both young and old—from the immediate neighborhood and from the larger Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Opportunities to welcome visitors always give us great pleasure, and we extend a special invitation to all new residents in our revitalized neighborhood and to students from area schools and universities.

Our location:  Massachusetts Avenue & 12th Street, N.W. in downtown Washington, DC.

Services: Our main Sunday service is Festive Mass and sermon with choir and organ, at 10:30 am. Child care is available during the 10:30 am Mass.

Sunday Morning Prayer followed by Low Mass is at 7:45 am at the Saint Agnes Chapel.

During the week, daily masses and evening prayer attract parishioners and others who work in downtown Washington and on Capitol Hill.

If you have no church home, we invite you to worship with us.

If you would to like to know more  about our parish, please  explore this web site or contact the parish office in person, by telephone, or e-mail during the week — or introduce yourself to our Rector, Fr. Dominique, after any of our services.
