“Holy Baptism is full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ’s Body, the Church” (Book of Common Prayer, p. 298).
Becoming a member of ASA requires baptism and confirmation.
Infant baptism: Possimus itaque ipsa voluptatem id sint dicta tempora.
If you are baptized: If you have been baptized with water in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, please contact our Parish Administrator, Mr. Michael Vreeland, by telephone at 202-347-8161 or by email and ask for your record to be transferred from your previous parish. We will handle it from there. You may become a baptized member of the parish even if you were not baptized in an Episcopal Church.
If you are not baptized: Contact Father Peridans by telephone at (202) 347-8161 or by email, and he will arrange for you to meet other adults in an enriching process that leads to baptism.
Confirmation: We also encourage you to consider becoming a confirmed member of the Episcopal Church. If you would like to do so, please contact Fr Peridans.
Reception into the Anglican Communion: If you are a confirmed member of the Roman Catholic Church or an Eastern Orthodox Church, you may become an Episcopalian by being received into the Anglican Communion.
Questions: If you have questions, about any of these matters, please call the parish office at (202) 347-8161.
